January 5th basketball road triple header at St Francis Prep has been postponed to Friday, February 2nd.
January 5th hockey game vs Xaverian is postponed. Time TBA.
January 6th Varsity B game is now being played at 7PM at Holy Cross vs. Bishop Loughlin.
The Friday, January 12 basketball road triple header at Bishop Loughlin is now being played at Holy Cross.

Holy Cross High School Fall Store

The Holy Cross Fall Flash store from Metro Team Outfitters is open now until midnight on Sunday, November 26th. This is where you can purchase Holy Cross custom branded Under Armour apparel.
Under Armour Quarter Zips- both the Qualifier and Locker styles- are dress code approved for school.  
There are plenty of Men’s and Women’s styles to choose from!

HCHS Advances To Play-Offs

West Islip, New York – Holy Cross High School advanced to the play-offs by handing St. John the Baptist High School Cougars a 27 to 7 gridiron defeat.

HOLY CROSS vs XAVIER

Aviation Field, New York – Holy Cross High School handed Xavier High School a gridiron defeat by a single touchdown: 14 to 7.

When Myles Taitt-Cooper (#21) scored on the second play of the game with an 80 plus yard run from scrimmage, Justin Felder’s (#24) Mom exclaimed that she taught Myles just like she taught Justin. They each scored TDs on long runs. In fact, Justin’s Mom claimed Myles as her son from another mother.

HOLY CROSS HIGH SCHOOL VARSITY BASKETBALL COACH APPOINTED

Flushing, Queens, New York – Mr. Keith Goggin ’92, Athletic Director, announced today the appointment of Mr. Eric Brooks as Holy Cross High School Varsity Basketball Coach. Mr. Brooks has served for the last four years as Assistant Coach alongside Mr. Terry Tarpey ’83. Mr. Tarpey recently announced his decision to step away from coaching in order to focus his attention on his senior leadership role at HCHS as the school expands its mission to co-education.

Coach Brooks recalls fondly his own high school varsity basketball days when he helped his alma mater, Christ the King High School, to multiple wins over Holy Cross. From Christ the King Mr. Brooks attended Fordham University where he played NCAA Division 1 basketball and graduated in 1987. Mr. Brooks has built a distinguished career in coaching and classroom leadership. He brings great communication skills to the position.
