Daily Prayer – Thursday, May 28th

We begin this week with Memorial Day, a holiday in the United States when we take the time to honor and mourn the military personnel who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. For the remainder of the week, we celebrate our graduating seniors, who will be moving on; soon to begin their college education in the Fall. We wish them God Speed.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Dear Lord, let us unite our hearts in prayer and entrust to your hands our students who will be graduating. We ask that you, our God who began this good work in them, carry it through to completion, enabling them to use their talents to the fullest. Give them the grace to make wise choices and to be faithful, always confident in the support of those who love you. Bless them with discomfort at easy answers, half-truths, and superficial relationships, so that you will live deep within their hearts.
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
