Flushing, Queens, New York – Holy Cross High School recently held its inaugural CYO Girls 7th and 8th grade basketball tournament. The games were a great success! A huge thank you goes out to the Holy Cross Varsity Cross Country coach Mrs. Cathy Quinn for handling the logistics of setting up the tournament.
Pictured below with their championship trophy- and sporting their Holy Cross Knights tournament t-shirts- are the members of the 7th grade championship team from Our Lady of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy from Bayside, NY. They defeated Our Lady of Lourdes from Queens Village in a tight, hard-fought, come from behind victory!
