Tom Marchesini is an alumnus and former player from Holy Cross, graduating in 1986. Mr. Marchesini works at Holy Cross High School as a Physical Education instructor and Former Head Varisty and Junior Varsity basketball coach. Prior to coaching at Holy Cross, Mr. Marchesini was the head junior varsity coach and assistant varsity coach at St. Francis Prep for twenty years. He has worked at the Holy Cross Basketball Camp since its inception in the summer of 1986.

Mr. Tom Catalanotto

Tom Catalanotto is the first ever Girls Varsity Head Coach at Holy Cross. He signed on in 2020, with the challenge of building a program from the ground up, with Holy Cross having just turned co-ed two years prior. After a short spring pandemic season, Tom captured the Class A Brooklyn Queens Diocese title in 2022, and advanced to the Class A State finals. This past season, he moved the Knights up to the AA division, where he wants to continue to grow the program to compete at the highest level in the city. Tom has coached in the CHSAA for over 20 years. He started his career at Molloy, where he won a NY State Title, and moved on to Monsignor Scanlan, where he built a program from an oversight to a team that won multiple Archdiocesan titles. As a resident of Flushing, he was happy to come “home” to Holy Cross and begin the next phase of his career.

Mike Faello is the Girls Varsity Assistant Coach at Holy Cross. Mike has coached in girls AAU for many years on Long Island, and just completed his third year on the staff here at Holy Cross. His knowledge and energy are contagious, and he brings his experience to our program passionately every time he sets foot on the court.
