Animal Rescue Club
Animal Rescue Club teaches students to act with compassion towards all of God’s creatures, which include human and non-human animals. Whether big or small, we all have a purpose on earth as per God’s wishes. Although we may not all look the same, we all feel love and pain; and, therefore should never harm animals. Students will learn to respect all living and sentient beings. In addition, members of the club will have the opportunity to pass on their altruism and empathy for animals on to others, inside and outside of the school community. Students will be involved in trips to local animal sanctuaries, invited to watch documentaries about the plight of animals, vegetarian restaurants, work with other after school clubs to raise funds for animals in shelters and animal organizations, and volunteer at animal shelters.
Meetings- On Fridays after school or based on student’s availability
