Student Code of Conduct

Students at Holy Cross are expected to observe a code of behavior rooted in its philosophy and objectives. It is expressed most simply as a compassionate behavior. Students treat each other and their environment with respect, aware of the needs of others. This is one of the fundamental lessons taught at Holy Cross.

Each Holy Cross Student has a right:

  • To learn
  • To be treated in an honest and trustful way
  • To attend a clean school and have his property treated with respect
  • To feel safe and secure
  • To move about the campus without disturbance
  • To respectfully express him/herself

Each Holy Cross student is responsible:

  • To behave, listen and speak in a respectful and responsible way to teachers, staff and other students
  • To help create an environment so teachers and students may learn, free from any type of harassment
  • To develop academically, physically, socially and spiritually
  • To respect the school property and the property of others
  • To make the school a safe place

  • “I have chosen to act honorably, not because someone is watching, but because I value my character and our community of trust.”
