National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is a nationally recognized organization established to recognize outstanding high school students.
The Holy Cross chapter is the Brother Karl Diemand, C.S.C. Chapter, named after Brother Karl Diemand who devoted nearly forty years of his life to the Holy Cross community as an English teacher.Membership in the NHS is more than an honor; it also demands an obligation to continue to demonstrate the four principles that serve as the foundation of NHS – the qualities of leadership, service, character, and scholarship.
You must also maintain a minimum GPA of 95 (weighted) and no grade less than 80 in any course. Chapter membership not only recognizes students for their accomplishments, but challenges them to develop further through active involvement in school activities and community service.
