On Thursday, May 25, 2023, the members of the Class of 2023 danced the night away at their senior prom.
This year, our prom was held at the Mansion at Oyster Bay, located on Long Island’s famous and luxurious Gold Coast. As the sun set, our soon-to-graduate seniors spent the evening dancing, laughing, and celebrating the end of their last year at Cross.
Surrounded by friends, faculty, administration and staff, Kevin Acosta and Celeste Marrero were voted Prom King and Queen, while Daniel Murray and Ripley Petrovic joined the court as Prom Prince and Princess.
Just four years ago, one of the first school events for these young men and women was our annual freshmen dance. It is only fitting that as we come full circle, their senior prom is one of the final milestones of their high school experience.Kevin Acosta ’23 and Celeste Marrero ’23 were nominated Prom King and Queen. Kevin will be attending the University of New Haven and Celeste will be attending Middlebury College in the Fall. Both will be attending on scholarship.
Daniel Murray ’23 and Ripley Petrovic ’23 were nominated Prom Prince and Princess. Daniel will be attending LaGuardia Community College and Ripley will be attending St. Edward’s University. Both students were scholarship recipients.
