Senior Event Robocall Message 5-15-2020

Voiced by Assistant Principal Tarpey.

Good evening/morning Holy Cross Seniors and families! The faculty and administration of Holy Cross certainly hope that this call finds everyone safe and healthy!

We would like to notify you today of some exciting senior events that will be happening over the next few weeks. But before we get to that, we would be remiss if we didn’t remind you to properly prepare for your final exams and senior projects that are due next week.

On Wednesday, May 27th and Thursday, May 28th, we will be having our senior textbook collection days here at Holy Cross. All seniors have received an email with an assigned window of time to visit Holy Cross High School, drop off their textbooks and collect personal effects from their lockers.

In order to maintain appropriate social distancing, we will be using the entrance on 170th street.
Please note that all students will be required to wear masks, in accordance with health recommendations. Appointment times have been spread out to avoid crowding. For this reason, all seniors must arrive within their assigned time slot.

In addition, during the following week of June 2nd through June 5th, Holy Cross Administrators, accompanied by faculty members, will be doing a personalized ‘GRAD GREET’ to all of the homes of our Seniors. Each Senior will personally receive a Class of 2020 bag filled with items such as -their cap and gown -a commencement program -their yearbook -a graduation lawn sign -varsity letter(s) for our athletes -as well as various awards, commendations, and other senior deserved items! We are planning routes to visit each senior home over the course of these four days.

A member of Holy Cross will be calling your home to notify you of the date and time-window of this special visit. Our goal is to allow our families time to plan ways in which to celebrate their graduation.

We congratulate the Class of 2020 -stay safe -and stay healthy!
