Holy Cross High School Announces New Assistant Principal, Dean of Women

Flushing, Queens, New York — In acknowledgment of a newly expanded mission to begin admitting young women as first-year students in the fall of 2018, Holy Cross High School is pleased to announce the addition of Mrs. Keri-Ann Wade-Donohue as Assistant Principal, Dean of Women.

Mrs. Wade-Donohue brings to this newly created position over eighteen years of experience as a 7th through 12th grade educator and administrator. Her last sixteen years have been spent in teaching and leadership roles at Saint Agnes Academic High School.

Mr. Edward Burns, Principal of Holy Cross said, “We are delighted to welcome Keri-Ann to this new leadership position. She brings with her significant experience in helping to guide young women to great success. An additional benefit to Holy Cross is that she knows the community well since her husband, Michael, serves Holy Cross as its Chair of the English Department.”

Mrs. Wade-Donohue holds a BA in Anthropology from Queens College and MA in Secondary Education from Molloy College.
