James Gleason ’64

Since graduating from Holy Cross, James Gleason has been a professional Actor, Director and Writer. He has written and performed in numerous productions, on Broadway and internationally, including: AN ACT OF GOD, ACTOR UNDER FIRE (based on experiences on his tour of duty in Viet Nam), THE BATTLE FOR THE PENTAGON PAPERS, THE GREAT TENNESSEE MONKEY TRIAL (with Ed Asner), THE CAINE MUTINY COURT-MARTIAL, RAISIN IN THE SUN, TWELVE ANGRY MEN, BROADWAY BOUND, THE GUYS IN THE TRUCK (with Mike Starr ’68) and SPEED THE PLOW. He has regularly appeared in THE DAYS AND NIGHTS OF MOLLY DODD, and guest starred in MODERN FAMILY, MEN OF A CERTAIN AGE, FAST FORWARD and FRASIER, to name a few. Film credits include AMERICAN DREAMZ, MOTHER (with Albert Brooks), REVENGE OF THE NERDS and THE WORLD’S GREATEST LOVER. James is married and makes his home in Los Angeles, CA.
