The National Honor Society is very excited to begin using our NEW online Tutor Request Form. All students are encouraged to seek out peer tutoring from National Honor Society members. Please complete the NHS Tutor Request form if you are interested in receiving peer tutoring. Parents or Students can complete this form to request tutoring for a student by using their Holy Cross email only. Please allow a few days to hear back from an NHS tutor.
The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that recognizes the most outstanding high school students in the country. The Holy Cross chapter is the Brother Karl Diemand, C.S.C. Chapter, named after Brother Karl Diemand who devoted nearly forty years of his life to the Holy Cross community as an English teacher.
To be eligible for consideration for acceptance and membership in our chapter of the National Honor Society, an invited candidate must be a rising junior or senior, demonstrate scholastic success by maintaining a minimum GPA of 95 (weighted) for seven consecutive marking quarters and no grade less than 80 in any course. A candidate must also consistently show good character as evidenced by an exemplary school disciplinary record. Leadership and service in school and community are also pillars of the organization and will be reviewed for acceptance and continued membership.
