Nominations for Holy Cross High School’s Hall of Fame Honorees may be submitted below. We accept nominations on a continuous basis. If your nominee meets the criteria, but is not selected for the current years’ gala, s/he will be carried over for consideration the following year. If your nominee is selected, you will be requested to serve on the Hall of Fame Committee to generate support for the event on behalf of that honoree. All nominees on file are reviewed annually during their window of eligibility by the Nominating Committee and may be selected to receive one of three awards:
Hall of Fame Induction – The Nominee will have demonstrated a significant level of achievement in one or more of the of the following areas: public service, government, religion, athletics, education, science and medicine, the arts, law, finance. The Nominee will have demonstrated, through their philanthropy and/or volunteerism to Holy Cross and their community, a commitment that reflects the service philosophy of the School.
Cross and Anchor Award – This special award is presented to individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary accomplishments in one or many areas of endeavor. The honoree is outstanding in that their achievements, energy, and spirit have reached into the lives of many and served as an example of the Holy Cross tradition of leadership, generosity, and compassion. Although members of the school community are eligible for this award, it is often reserved for individuals who represent various constituencies outside, but related to, the Holy Cross family.
St. Brother André Medal – The Saint Brother André Medal is given annually to individuals who have exemplified the virtues of humility and service and have made, over many years, an enduring contribution to the mission of Holy Cross High School in making God known, loved and served.
